A Lost Memory of an Amazing Father!

My dad was an amazing man! I have always been so proud to call him my Father!

I have wonderful memories of my father, ones that I thought were lost and gone but have been slowly coming to surface in the past few weeks. One in particular, I was about 7 years old and it was Bring Your Parent to School day, and since i came from a family where both parents worked, I wasn't expecting anyone to show up. To my surprise my dad took the day off of work, without me knowing, and surprised me at school. I was ecstatic, but so nervous at the same time. I didn't want to dissappoint him. As he sat in the back of the classroom with the other parents, it was my turn to hand in my homework from the night before, and OMG I couldn't find it. I began to cry silently so my dad wouldn't see me. I remember him coming to my desk to ask what was wrong and I was so scared to tell him, I thought he would be mad. But instead he helped me remove everything from my desk. and look for it again, because I was sure I finished it and had it in my book bag. And sure enough it was there, shoved in the back of my desk. After that my day went great. We took out parent(s) to lunch with us and onto the playground. I remember my dad playing dodgeball with me and my friends. <3
